We've been eager to hear what Cthulhu Basscraft has been channeling in 2024, and judging by his recent DJ mixes, we expected something raw, edgy, and unapologetically crunchy. He did not disappoint.
We’re thrilled to present his latest release, Dancing In The Dark. The title track builds with epic intensity, and when it finally drops, it hits like a freight train—massive whomps, razor-sharp reeses, and roaring hoover basslines carve out a sound that’s as powerful as it is electrifying. The angst is felt all the way through, the rolling percussive elements carry the groove and it rides that tough bass all the way.
This new single is another one of the Deep Dubstep variety, it takes us out to the deep sea and then engulfs us with that warm and heavy bass, feeling like an emersion into the arms of a creature of great magnitude from the bottom of the ocean. The atmospherics are light and don’t quite prepare you for the wave of crunchy goodness that comes forth after.
